To bring some extra cheer, The City of Independence has brightened up Riverview Park with some extra festive lighting. Starting Saturday, Nov 28th, you and your family can stop by downtown for a socially distanced stroll around the Riverview Park Plaza to enjoy some extra magic this holiday season. The lighting adorning the plaza will be lit every evening from Nov. 28th- Jan. 9th. Please be respectful of other community members who may be present and always keep 6 feet of distance between yourselves.
Our Letters to Santa Mailbox will also be located on the plaza near the fountain, so you can pop by with your littles to mail off their letters for jolly Ol’ Saint Nick.
